Radio Impact Loses Another Distribution Deal Over Content ID Issues: Major DJ Greenguy Releases Affected

Radio Impact has once again found itself in hot water—this time losing a key distribution deal due to repeated Content ID claims tied to songs using leased beats. This latest setback will result in significant disruptions across multiple platforms, with a wide range of DJ Greenguy releases getting pulled.

As a result of the fallout, music videos posted to VEVO under DJ Greenguy's name are set to be removed. Streaming services will also begin scrubbing impacted content, including several major projects that were re-released through the now-terminated distributor.

Among the albums getting removed are the Alan Dubz and Trap Barbie projects originally released in 2020–2021 via Symphonic, which were later reissued through Radio Impact. Fans can also expect to lose access to the collaborative project with K Davis the Hitman, Tha West (Amended Version), as well as K Davis’s solo album Masaya.

This situation serves as a stark reminder of the risks that come with distributing music tied to leased beats—especially when Content ID systems are involved. Radio Impact has not yet announced a new distribution partner or plan for reinstating the affected catalog. Stay tuned for updates.

We hope to find a new home for these releases and re-issue them. As we brace for the content to be removed, we apologize to the fans for the inconvenience.
